Inaugural IPG report finds resilience and optimism

The UK independent publishing industry is strong and flourishing, according to the Independent Publishers Guild’s first report into the health of the sector. Intended as a “comprehensive and authoritative picture” of independent publishing, the report reveals that more than half of the companies surveyed believe their business is growing.

The research, devised by the IPG and undertaken by Nielsen Book, was compiled from the results of an online questionnaire sent to all IPG publisher members between 11th September to 14th October 2015, with 157 responses received.
