Cornerstone deputy marketing director Adam Humphrey has been appointed as marketing director for HarperFiction, Voyager and Blue Door.

An exact start date is to be confirmed but Humphrey will begin work in the autumn. He has been at Cornerstone for five years, working on authors including John Grisham, Karin Slaughter, Kathy Reichs, Robert Harris, Ben Kane and Ruth Rendell.

HarperCollins associate publisher Roger Cazalet said: "Adam is immensely talented and we will benefit from his considerable skills, including strategy, brand marketing, digital innovation, targeted social media and online campaigns."

Humphrey said: "Following a great five years at Cornerstone, I am absolutely delighted to be joining HarperFiction. The publishing team has an enviable stable of bestselling authors, and a rich and successful heritage. I can’t wait to get started, and I am really looking forward to leading the marketing department during such an exciting period in the industry."
