Head of Zeus has asked UK booksellers to remove copies of Terry Goodkind's Warheart "with immediate effect" after it mistakenly sent out copies prematurely.
The independent publisher has issued the "urgent" notice to booksellers, asking them to hold off selling and displaying the title until 17th November, which marks the agreed date for global release in the UK, Europe, North America, Australasia and all other markets.
The publisher said it mistakenly released the title too early.
Warheart is the “long-awaited” final volume in Goodkind's fantasy series. In the "epic" finale, the destinies of characters Richard and Kahlan, "soulmates, pawns of prophecy and inheritors of an ancient conflict" have been bound together since their first encounter in Wizard's First Rule. "But now Richard lies on a funeral bier - suspended between the worlds of life and death and Kahlan faces her greatest challenge" the publisher said.
