Agent Penny Holroyde is leaving the Caroline Sheldon Literary Agency after nearly a decade at the end of this week.
Holroyde, will leave on Friday (13th February) to start a new venture, details of which she will reveal in the spring.
In her 10 years at the Caroline Sheldon agency, Holroyde worked with authors such as Thomas Doherty, Tom Avery and Jenni Desmond.
Following Holroyde's departure, Felicity Trew, who has been working as a junior agent, will be promoted to the role of literary agent, developing a list of authors and illustrators in children’s books and general fiction.
Caroline Sheldon said: “Penny Holroyde has been a much-treasured colleague and I will miss her very much. I wish her great success in the future. I am much looking forward to working with Felicity Trew who I believe is a talent to watch.”
