Andrew Hodder-Williams has been appointed to the role of publishing director at Lion Hudson.
Hodder-Williams began his career at the independent publisher, which specialises in titles true to the Christian faith, and has worked at Hodder & Stoughton and Hodder Headline. After gaining an MBA, he was worked as a consultant to the publishing and telecoms sectors, including KPMG Consulting and Atos.
He said: "I started my career at Lion Publishing almost 30 years ago and I am delighted and honoured to be returning to this great company as publishing director at such an exciting time for the industry.”
Roy McCloughry, Lion Hudson chairman, added: "I’m not sure any of us believed when we began recruiting for the role of publishing director that we would find someone with Andrew’s publishing experience, knowledge of digital technology and both an academic and practical knowledge of the Christian faith. All of us on the Lion Hudson board are delighted that Andrew has accepted the post."
Nick Jones will take the position of acting managing director/international sales director at Lion Hudson, effective from 1st July.
Hodder-Williams will start at Lion Hudson on 6th August.
