Hodder & Stoughton has acquired two books from cookery writer Natasha Corrett.
Lifestyle editorial director Nicky Ross bought world rights to Honestly Healthy Cleanse and one other book from Melanie Rockliffe at talent agency Troika.
Honestly Healthy Cleanse includes more than 100 recipes and “a cleanse for everyone”, including a weekend of juices and soups, a six-day cleanse to help people slim down, and a high-energy programme to boost exercise.
Ross said: “Natasha is at the vanguard of the alkaline healthy eating revolution with her mouth-watering recipes. Her food is all about enjoyment and flavour – and it makes you feel fabulous too.”
Corrett started her Honestly Healthy website and Fridge Fill meal delivery service four years ago, and celebrity fans include Victoria Beckham, Lily Allen and Robbie Williams.
She has previously published two Honestly Healthy books, co-written with Vicki Edgson and published by Jacqui Small. The books, Honestly Healthy: Eat with Your Body in Mind, the Alkaline Way, and Honestly Healthy for Life: Healthy Alternatives for Everyday Eating, have sold 57,214 copies through Nielsen BookScan.
Honestly Healthy Cleanse will be published in January 2015.
