Hodder Headline puts US on hold

<p>Tom Holman</p><p>Hodder Headline has put its plans to expand into the US market on hold pending the arrival of Kate Swann as c.e.o. of parent W H Smith on 1st November.</p><p>The publisher said in February it would hook up with Simon&amp;Schuster to gain a foothold in the US, but recruitment of staff and development of a local list have since stalled.
