Hill picks up US bestseller

<p>Author and publisher Susan Hill has picked up a US bestseller among a flurry of fiction deals, each made for her publishing company Long Barn Books&#39; standard &pound;1,000 advance. </p><p><em>Eating Heaven</em> by Jennie Shortridge tells the story of a comfort-eating magazine journalist who is jolted to shake up her life after her favourite uncle is diagnosed with cancer.
