High-concept thriller to S&S

<p>A first novel by Michael Byrnes has been winning international sales as well as a UK one with Ian Chapman and Julie Wright of Simon&amp;Schuster.
Byrnes' The Sacred Bones, due in March 2007, is a thriller that opens with the discovery of the remains of Christ in a crypt beneath Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Rights have also gone to ReganBooks in the US, Eksmo in Russia, Newton&amp;Compton in Italy, Belfond in France, Luitingh in the Netherlands, and Planeta in Spain.
The agent is Charlie Viney at Mulcahy&amp;Viney. Nicki Kennedy and Sam Edenborough of ILA handled the foreign language sales....
