Heinemann reaps rewards with debut deal

<p>William Heinemann has won a hotly contested auction for Josh Bazell&#39;s debut novel <em>Beat the Reaper</em>. Heinemann paid a high five-figure sum for UK and Commonwealth rights excluding Canada for the novel, which was sold by Lauren Pearson at Regal Literary.
