Headline snaps up YouTube's Fleur de Force

YouTube blogger Fleur de Force is to write a guide to fashion, beauty, health and more for Headline.

Deputy publishing director Sarah Emsley acquired world rights to The Glam Guide from Rory Scarfe at Furniss Lawton.

De Force started making YouTube videos in 2009 and now has 1.5m subscribers on the site, with over 130m views of her videos. She was named Best Vlogger – video blogger – by Cosmopolitan in 2013 and 2014.

The Glam Guide will bring together makeup tips, wardrobe cheats, healthy lifestyle motivation and body image boosts, together with de Force’s beauty secrets and shopping advice.

Emsley said: “When Fleur came into the office to meet us we were all struck by her warmth, knowledge and professionalism. She is an expert in her field, and a very successful businesswoman, and her book idea is completely spot on for the market. We couldn't be more thrilled to be working with her (and we're all looking forward to becoming just that little bit more glam as a result).”

The Glam Guide will be released on 12th February 2015 in trade paperback and e-book, priced £14.99.
