Head of Zeus imprint Aria has bought three new Julie Houston books with plans to publish the first book in the new deal next year.
Aria Fiction editorial director Hannah Smith acquired world English rights in a three-book deal from Anne Williams at the Kate Hordern Literary Agency.
The first book in the new deal will be published in late 2020.
Smith said: "Julie has been a truly brilliant and fantastic author to work with here at Aria, she’s such a talented author who is going from strength to strength. We are beyond excited to have three more books from her and continue to grow her across platforms."
Houston added: "I’m absolutely delighted to have signed another three book deal with Aria, and look forward to continuing working with such a highly professional publishing company. Hannah and her team are working with some great authors, producing fabulous books and I’m proud to be part of that team."
Houston is the author of five bestselling Aria novels, said the publisher. Houston’s next novel Sing Me A Secret will be published in early 2020. The novel will see readers return to the wonderful village of Westenbury where the village choir is trying to put on the greatest show the village has ever seen, with all the love, rivalry, drama and antics readers love in Julie Houston’s novels.
