Head of Zeus pre-empts Roman trilogy

Head of Zeus has pre-empted UK and Commonwealth rights for a “positively Shakespearean” Roman series by Ian Ross set in the reign of Constantine.

Rosie de Courcy, senior editor at Head of Zeus, bought the rights for the series’ first three books from Will Francis at Janklow & Nesbit.

The first, War at the Edge of the World, will be released in February 2015. Francis said the novels would “appeal to readers of George R R Martin”.
