Head of Zeus picks up Einstein study

Head of Zeus has signed a non-fiction book on Albert Einstein and the theory of relativity.

Editorial director of non-fiction Neil Belton signed UK, Commonwealth and European rights to The Hunt for Vulcan: How Albert Einstein Destroyed a Planet and Deciphered the Universe by Tom Levenson in a deal with Simon Trewin at WME.

The book looks at how Einstein's theories helped explain the orbit of the planet Mercury, which was previously attributed to a hypothetical planet called Vulcan.

It will be published on 5th November 2015, to coincide with the centenary of the publication of Einstein's landmark theory.

Levenson is a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
