The debate over the EU referendum and its implications for the book trade has raged in the last few weeks, with Peter Mandelson urging us that EU membership is "crucial to publishing", Axel Scheffler arguing that the Gruffalo would never have been created without it, and European authors urging us to remain within the Union; while agent Diane Banks has argued that the book industry needs a "Leave" vote, and agent Gordon Wise has called for the conversation in the book trade to become more open.
We conducted our first trade survey in April, when several of you predicted "catastrophic uncertainty" were the Leave camp to prevail. Please complete our short survey here.
Results will be published on Friday 17th June.
