Harrison leaves Waterstone's for publishing

<p>Sam Harrison, Waterstone&#39;s buyer for entertainment and sport, is to join Aurum Press as commissioning editor.</p><p>Harrison moves to the independent illustrated publisher on 12th May. He replaces Natasha Martin, who left the company for a position outside publishing last month. Harrison has been with Waterstone&#39;s since 2000, starting in the Nottingham branch before moving to head office.</p><p>Bill McCreadie, Aurum m.d., said: &quot;I am very pleased that Sam will be joining us. He&#39;s an extremely knowledgeable and widely read guy with a real intellect and his commercial retail experience will be a great asset to the business&quot;.</p>
