HarperCollins has made two promotions in its non-fiction team, with Natalie Jerome and Anna Valentine stepping up to new positions. Editorial director Natalie Jerome has been promoted to publishing director.
She will report to Carole Tonkinson, publisher of Harper Non-Fiction, and will work alongside publishing directors Hannah Black and Jonathan Taylor.
Tonkinson said: "Natalie has had an incredible year, seeing huge successes with her commissioning of Alan Carr and JLS and her brilliant editing of Chris Evans. I have no doubt that she will thrive in this new role and continue to attract top talent to Harper Non-Fiction."
Editor Anna Valentine has been promoted to senior commissioning editor. Tonkinson said: "Anna has also had fantastic success this year with the acquisition of Frankie Boyle’s autobiography amongst her many other achievements. She has shown that she has an eye for talent and a terrific passion for publishing and I am excited to see that develop further."
