HarperCollins has promoted Victoria McGeown to the position of editor within its non-fiction team.
McGeown joined the company slightly more than a year ago as an assistant editor. She will now be responsible for commissioning and working on all areas of commercial non-fiction including music, pop culture, fashion, autobiography and the HarperTrue imprint.
Carole Tonkinson, publisher of Harper NonFiction and Avon, said: "Victoria McGeown has impressed us all with her editorial talent, eye for design and terrific dedication. It's a pleasure to promote her to editor, a role in which she will acquire across a wide range of commercial nonfiction."
