HarperCollins has made a number of promotions in its digital division.
Jo Forshaw, formerly head of audio, has been appointed director of audio. She joined the publisher in 2007 and has been involved in switching its audio programme from largely CD-based to a multi-format list. Digital content manager Isabella Steel has been appointed digital key account manager and will be responsible for marketing and promoting digital titles.
Katy Whitehead, a former HC graduate trainee, has been appointed head of interactive products and will be involved in developing apps and enhanced e-books. Robin Harvie, Friday Project and Fourth Estate editor, will also take on digital PR, working with publicity teams across the company on its digital publishing programmes.
The team will report to group digital director and publisher David Roth-Ey who told HC staff in an email: "These promotions and new responsibilities will help ensure that we have the expertise, skills, and focus to deliver dynamic growth and pioneering products."
