Harlequin, a division of HarperCollins, has promoted several members of staff at its new HQ imprint.
Lucy Gilmour, who has returned from maternity leave, is the new editorial director, managing the editorial team as well as acquiring new titles.
Commissioning editors Anna Baggaley and Sally Williamson have both been promoted to senior commissioning editor and will report to Gilmour, whilst Victoria Oundjian and Clio Cornish are taking on editor roles.
All promotions are effective immediately.
Harlequin’s executive publisher Lisa Milton said: “I’m delighted to recognise the talent and experience in the editorial team. This new structure will ensure that we continue to develop as a dynamic, thriving commercial trade publisher.”
Harlequin, which was bought by HarperCollins for around £250m in 2014, announced the launch of the HQ imprint in April. HQ comprises all of Harlequin’s former trade imprints, including adult fiction imprint Mira and YA imprint INK.
