Guardian longlists Tash, Evans and Laird for first book award

<p>Booker longlisted Aw Tash, Diana Evans, who won this year's first &#163;10,000 Orange international award for new writing, and Samuel Johnson non-fiction nominees Alexander Masters and Suketu Mehta, have all been longlisted for the Guardian First Book Award.</p><p>The authors join Rattawut Lapcharoensap, Reza Aslan, Richard Benson, Wesley Stace, Joanna Kavenna and Nick Laird on a 10-strong longlist that represents Iran, Thailand, India, Malaysia, the US, Kent, Oxford, Neasden, Doncaster and Co Tyrone.
