Hodder has acquired Lucy Griffiths' Make Money While You Sleep: How to Turn Your Knowledge into Online Courses That Make You Money 24hrs a Day, an "indispensable book for demystifying and harnessing the digital course industry".
Griffiths is a passive income strategist and coach. Her first book will teach readers how to "stand out in an increasingly noisy online course world by creating a proven system that turns your ideas into a bestselling brand – packaging up expertise and selling courses on repeat". The author will offer guidance on how to position yourself as an expert in your industry and harness the power of social media.
Ultimately, Griffiths will take you through the process of course creation: from inspiration to getting it done and turning it into a money-making machine, said the publisher.
Publisher Briony Gowlett acquired world all language rights from Jo Bell at Bell Lomax Moreton. Publication is scheduled for 2nd September 2021. Mobius will publish in the US in February 2022.
Gowlett said: "I’ve been fascinated by the explosion in e-learning and the digital course industry since long before the Covid-19 pandemic supercharged its growth. Lucy is proof that this market goes far beyond early adopters and it’s within the grasp of anyone wishing to share and monetise their expertise."
Griffiths said: "Forget the old ideas of working non-stop and pressing pause on your life until you retire, this is the ultimate way to turn what you know into an online course so that you can escape the nine-to-five treadmill and have more time for your family and your life! I'm thrilled to be writing this book and share the blueprint to creating a bestselling course that makes money while you sleep!"
