Greig buys a double

<p>Charlotte Greig at Picador has bought <em>The Unfixed Stars</em> by Michael Byers, a novel inspired by the true story of the farm boy Clyde Tombaugh and his discovery of the planet Pluto. Greig bought UK and Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) from Janet Silver at Zachary Shuster Harmsworth Literary<br />Agency, for publication in July 2010. </p><p>Greig called it &quot;warm, life-affirming and beautifully written.&quot;</p><p> Greig also acquired UK and Commonwealth rights (excluding Canada) in a debut, <em>Hungry </em>by Ellen Bryson, described as &quot;an enchanting love story between the world&rsquo;s thinnest man and the bearded lady, set in P T Barnum&rsquo;s American Museum in 1865 New York City&quot;. </p><p>The deal was done with Arabella Stein and the novel will be published in Spring 2011.</p>
