Great author hunt for WBD 2000


Members of the public will be offered &pound;5 rewards for apprehending famous authors including Jane Austen, Robert Burns, Charles Dickens, William Shakespeare and Oscar Wilde in cities across the UK next Friday (10th March) as part of the World Book Day 2000 celebrations.</p><p>

The author lookalikes, who will be roaming around Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester, will hand &pound;5 book tokens to members of the public who can identify them.</p><p>
