Granta adds to natural history list

Granta has acquired two new books to add to its natural history list.<br /><br />Sara Holloway, editorial director, bought world rights for<em> A Butterfly Year </em>by Patrick Barkham from Karolina Sutton, agent at Curtis Brown. The book, which was bought at auction, is a journey around Britain&#39;s wild places in search of all 58 species of British butterfly. Granta will be publishing the<br />title in spring 2011. Barkham works for the <em>Guardian</em>, and writes on topics including television, technology and film.<br /><br />Holloway also acquired world rights for <em>The Book of Barely Imagined Things</em> by Caspar Henderson, from James James Macdonald Lockhart at Antony Harwood Associates. The title is about 26 of the world&#39;s strangest living animals, from the Axolotl to Zebrafish. Henderson has previously written on topics including energy, science, environment and human rights for a variety of magazines and newspapers.<br />
