HarperCollins has appointed Grace Cheetham as interim publisher of Harper Non-Fiction, covering for publisher Natalie Jerome while she is on maternity leave.
Cheetham is currently publisher for food and drink at Watkins, where she has created her own list, Nourish. Cheetham has spent 20 years in food and drink, health and craft publishing, having previously worked as Element and Ebury Press. She is also a published cookery writer and blogger in her own right.
Jerome said: "I am thrilled that Grace will be joining the team, she is a fantastically creative and dynamic publisher with an incredibly strong, commercial eye. Her background in cookery and health will complement and strengthen the team at a time when we are actively looking to grow our list in these areas and particularly following the successful re-launch of Thorsons earlier this year."
Cheetham, who will join Harper Non-Fiction on 28th May, said: "It's a brilliant team and I'm hugely looking forward to working with their stellar authors, especially Rachel Allen, Lorraine, Ching and Amelia Freer."
