Giles: 'I will not take my foot off the pedal'

<p>Speaking to The Bookseller, HMV chief executive Alan Giles revealed some of the thinking behind his departure. "I been in this game for 30 years and to use the dreaded phrase of Allan Leighton I felt it was time to 'go plural'." Giles said he would now seek non-exec directorships, but he ruled out becoming involved with a book retailer.
