The Headline Publishing Group has acquired the “quirky and original” autobiography of reality TV star and “Celebrity Big Brother” winner, Charlotte Crosby.
Deputy publishing director Sarah Emsley bought world rights from Kate O'Shea at Bold Management in the autobiography, titled ME ME ME.
Emsley said: “Charlotte is bright, brash and absolutely hilarious. Her quirky and original autobiography delivers everything her fans could wish for. We couldn't be more thrilled to be working with her.”
In ME ME ME 24-year-old Crosby, who rose to fame as part of the “Geordie Shore” cast, takes the reader on a journey through her eventful teenage years, her attempts at holding down jobs, the life-changing experience of “Geordie Shore” and her relationship with fellow cast member Gary Beadle, as well as her recent weight-loss.
The book will also include drawings, doodles and Crosby’s personal photographs. Headline has described it as “extremely personal, insanely honest and pant-wettingly funny”.
Crosby said: “I am so excited about having my very own book not only because it's going to be different to any other autobiography out there but also because it's fun and a breath of fresh air, like Me Me Me!.”
Crosby follows in the footsteps of “Geordie Shore” cast members Gaz Beadle, whose autobiography is published by John Blake , and Vicky Pattinson, who has written an autobiography and has been signed for two forthcoming novels for Sphere.
Headline will publish ME ME ME in hardcover and e-book on 16th July 2015.
