The awards were first announced in November at the FutureBook Conference, the industry-leading digital conference.
Sam Missingham, who co-hosts the FutureBook blog, said the innovation awards were about rewarding the people behind the digital products, as well as the product themselves. "As an industry awards we want to highlight and celebrate professionals across the trade who are doing the real work to facilitate digital innovation. We also want to showcase new products and ideas."
