Funding boost for Scottish Book Trust


Scottish Book Trust, the Edinburgh-based charity promoting Scottish literacy, has received a 27% boost to its funding from the Scottish Arts Council (SAC). The money will be used on a workplace reading promotion, its Website, World Book Day events and new staff.</p><p>

The trust, which aims to "make every child a reading child, every adult a reading adult and every reader a lover of good books", will receive a total grant of &#163;99,000 during 2001
