Nutritional therapist Amelia Freer, author of the bestselling Eat. Nourish. Glow. is to move from HarperCollins to Penguin Random House’s Michael Joseph for her new book.
Michael Joseph will publish Freer’s first cookbook, Cook. Nourish. Glow. on 1st January 2016. It will contain more than 100 recipes.
Eat. Nourish. Glow has sold 96,751 copies through Nielsen BookScan to date. It received a sales boost after singer Sam Smith recommended the book via his Instagram account, leading to HarperCollins ordering a reprint of 150,000 copies of the book.
Eat. Nourish. Glow. was one of the first books released by HarperCollins this year under its revamped Harper Thorsons list.
Michael Joseph editorial director Fenella Bates bought British Commonwealth rights, including Canada, to Cook. Nourish. Glow. from Elizabeth Sheinkman at WME.
