Foyles taps into Blackwell's training

<p>Foyles, the Charing Cross Road independent bookshop, is to tap into the staff training and development resources of its larger rival Blackwell's. Sharon Murray, Foyles general manager, said Foyles and Blackwell's had agreed to discuss how they could work together on training, after the closure of the Booksellers Association's retail training schemes.</p><p> oyles may pay for a training module from Blackwell's, or it may send its staff to Oxford for non-commercially sensitive training. A visiting trainer from Blackwell's was also a possibility.</p>
