Writer, critic and social historian Alexandra Harris will chair the judging panel for the 2020 Forward Prize.
Poets Kim Moore, Roger Robinson and David Wheatley and journalist and novelist Leaf Arbuthnot will join Harris on the panel.
Categories are for Best Collection (£10,000), the Felix Dennis Prize for First Best Collection (£5,000) and Best Single Poem (£1,000), "honouring fresh voices alongside internationally established names, and celebrating work that shapes new ways of speaking and perceiving".
Last year’s winners were Fiona Benson with Vertigo & Ghost (Cape Poetry) for best collection; Stephen Sexton with If All the World and Love Were Young (Penguin Books) for best first collection, and Parwana Fayyaz for "Forty Names" (PN Review) for best single poem.
The Forward Prizes are now open to submissions until 9th March, with the winners announced at the Southbank Centre on 25th October.
