Fishwick's five-figure flurry

<p>Bloomsbury&#39;s Michael Fishwick has poached novelist Niall Williams from Macmillan as part of a buying spree that has seen him snap up six new titles in a fortnight.</p><p>Fishwick matched Picador&#39;s bid for Williams&#39; new novel with a &quot;very good five-figure sum&quot; for world English-language rights after an approach by agent Caroline Michel.
