Bloomsbury’s Lisa Finch will join Canongate in February to cover Steph Scott’s maternity leave.
Finch, currently head of consumer export at Bloomsbury, will be joining Canongate on 1st February 2019 to provide maternity cover as head of international while Scott is on maternity leave. Scott will take maternity three weeks’ later.
"Having worked at Bloomsbury for 12 years, and at Simon & Schuster and Penguin before then, Lisa brings with her a fantastic range of experience working on brands such as Harry Potter, Khaled Hosseini and Neil Gaiman,” Canongate said.
Finch said: "In the time I have been at Bloomsbury I have been lucky enough to work with some wonderful people all over the world, both colleagues and customers. I am absolutely delighted to be joining the team at Canongate, a publisher which I have always admired and respected for its creativity and vision. I can’t wait to be part of Canongate’s continuing growth in international markets, and to work with some of the most exciting books and authors being published at the moment."
