Poet and entrepreneur Felix Dennis has been revealed as one of the investors behind the unexpected management rescue bid of printer Butler and Tanner, according to a piece on BBC Points West.
Property management company Edward Symmons last week completed the sale of the firm's assets to individual buyers but a last-ditch m.b.o. bid from former employees now appears to have saved the firm.
According to the BBC, the managers are still in talks, and there has been no official statement: but a deal has been done with the owner of the site and unions say they are 80% confident of the deal being done.
