Fears over Thin's £150k cuts


Scottish bookselling chain James Thin has announced a sweeping head office restructure, at both director and management level, in an attempt to save &#163;150,000. Director Jamie Thin is to leave to pursue other interests, and will not be replaced. The chain plans to boost sales by increasing its range of non-book products. Publishers fear the cost-cutting move could presage cashflow problems for the chain, which made a loss in its last financial year.</p><p>
