Faber goes for The Town

Faber has bought world rights to The Town by Shaun Prescott, “a stunning modern reincarnation of the existentialist novel”.

Lee Brackstone bought world, all-language rights from Sam Cooney at Melbourne-based indie press Brow Books.

The novel reveals the impossibility of carving our own identities in a zone that is both “unyielding and teetering on the edge of oblivion”, Faber said.
