Faber Children’s has acquired the world rights to a 2016 diary from Louise Pentland, best known for her fashion and lifestyle channel ‘Sprinkle of Glitter’ on YouTube.
Commissioning editor Alice Swan, who purchased world rights from Maddie Chester at Gleam Futures, said: “When we first met Louise back in the spring and she talked about her passion for diaries, we knew that we wanted to create one with her and we've been working on it together ever since. Her blog puts so much joy into everyday life and Louise has packed the diary with heaps of ideas that inspire creativity, fun and good feelings throughout the year.”
The diary will be entitled Sprinkle of Glitter Diary 2016: How to Have the Best Year of Your Life and will be printed in full colour with recipes, advice, photo challenges and ‘monthly motivations’. It will be published in hardback in August 2015.
Louise currently has 1.8million YouTube subscribers and vlogs about about topics such as make-up and pregnancy.
