Fifty Shades of Grey author E L James will sign copies of the new book in the series, Grey (Arrow), at Barnes & Noble in New York City on the book's release date next Thursday (18th June).
It will be the author’s only New York City book signing appearance for the novel, which will be published on the same day - the fictional character’s birthday. James will be signing books at Barnes & Noble Fifth Avenue from 11:30 a.m.
The author announced the new book to her fans on her blog and social media on 1st June.
It will be told from the point of view of the lead male character in her bestselling series, Christian Grey, and James said it will examine his “desires and motivations”.
Yesterday, Penguin Random House confirmed that Kent Police were investigating the theft of a finished copy of the novel.

The Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy - comprising Fifty Shades of Grey, Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed (all published by Arrow) - has sold 11,216,886 copies through Nielsen BookScan, with the first book being adapted into a Hollywood film earlier this year.
