Egmont remains confident for year ahead

<p>Alison Bone</p><p>Children's publisher Egmont is refusing to be intimidated by the arrival of Harry Potter Six, pledging continued growth in 2005.</p><p>Egmont's market share increased to 9.9% in 2004 from 8.3% in 2003 according to Nielsen BookScan's Total Consumer Market. The publisher said its total sales growth was up 8% for the year, reversing a fall in 2003.</p><p>Group managing director Rob McMenemy said the group still aimed to grow UK market share in 2005.
