Egmont extends HC supply chain contract

<p>Children&#39;s publisher Egmont has extended its supply chain contract with HarperCollins for another five years.</p><p>HarperCollins has been fulfilling supply of Egmont&#39;s books since 2004. Its distribution centre is located in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow. It handles around 100 million books per year, sending them to 56 countries across Europe and further afield.</p><p>Rob McMenemy, senior vice president and m.d. of Egmont, said: &quot;We have established a successful partnership with the HarperCollins team in the past five years.&nbsp; They are as committed as we are to providing the very best service to all of our customers and we are looking forward to continuing our<br />work together.&quot;</p><p>Shaun Plunkett, HarperCollins group supply chain director, said: &quot;HarperCollins Distribution has had an excellent working relationship with Egmont since 2004.&nbsp; We are both privileged and delighted to retain this thriving business for a further five years.
