Weidenfeld & Nicolson senior editor Holly Harley will join Piatkus as a commissioning editor for health and popular psychology titles next week.
Reporting to Piatkus, Constable and Robinson non-fiction publisher Zoe Bohm, she starts the new role on 17th June.
At W&N, Harley has worked with a wealth of big non-fiction names including Simon Sebag Montefiore, Adam Rutherford, Philippe Sands, Laura Freeman, Bettany Hughes and Henry Marsh.
Harley said: “It’s been a privilege to have started my career at Weidenfeld and to have worked alongside some inspirational colleagues and exceptional authors. But I’m very excited to be joining Piatkus, to be building on the success of the list, and to spreading my wings by publishing the brightest and best non-fiction.”
Bohm added: “Holly impressed us hugely with her passion for non-fiction, market knowledge and ideas for the future of the Piatkus list. She is a perfect fit for the team and will be instrumental in ensuring Piatkus remains at the forefront of intelligent, bestselling non-fiction in the health and popular psychology categories.”
