The Ed Victor literary agency has formed a link-up with United Agents for the handling of film, television and theatrical rights.
Charlie Campbell from Ed Victor and Georgina Lewis for United Agents will head up the arrangement under the director of EV Ltd chairman Ed Victor and St John Donald, the managing director of UA.
Victor commented: "Times are changing and the selling of film and TV rights is an increasingly complex business. Up until now, we have worked with a number of top agencies in London and Hollywood on a case-by-case basis. But now we want a close, collaborative partnership in the selling of these rights with a single agency." This will provide the "most effective handling" of clients' dramatic rights, he added.
Clients of Ed Victor Ltd include Edna O'Brien, John Banville, Frederick Forsyth, Jack Higgins, Nigella Lawson and Eoin Colfer, as well as literary estates including Douglas Adams and Raymond Chandler.
