Ebury will publish "Love Island" finalist and personal trainer Gabby Allen's first book in May.
Based on Allen’s bestselling Shape Up app, Shape Up with Gabby Allen is a cookbook and four week workout plan that works well with Allen’s classes on Fiit, the Shape Up app and as a complete beginner’s standalone plan.
Allen, a qualified personal trainer, devised the framework for the plan when she was in “lock down” in preparation for her entrance to the villa in Love Island 2017.
“With over 60 simple, tasty recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, Gabby’s ‘library’ of meals are designed to help readers stay energised throughout the day. There is no calorie counting or complicated carb and protein cycling making this one of the easiest plans to follow,” said Allen. “The recipes are quick and easy to make, ideal for making in advance and meal-prepping. This is the food Gabby eats every day to stay in shape and the never-before-seen recipes that fans have been asking for.”
Allen said: “I am so thrilled to be releasing a book with Ebury! I have never before shared my recipes or what I eat on a daily basis so finally doing so is beyond exciting! I thoroughly believe health and fitness should be obtainable for everyone. There is no reason why everyone shouldn’t enjoy helping themselves feel and look good. That’s why I wanted to write this book. The plan is challenging but engaging both physically and mentally. All our recipes are not only quick and easy to follow but they’re all low-calorie and taste delicious! (If I do say so myself.) I want to help people maintain a happy, healthy life. I want people coming back for more! This book should do that/. It’s fun and different and I hope everybody loves it as much as I do.”
The book will be published on 2nd May, priced at £15.99.
