Dutch novel for Atlantic

Grove Atlantic US and Atlantic Books UK have bought World English rights in The Rebel's Hour by Lieve Joris in a pre-emptive bid through Sarah Lutyens of Lutyens&Rubinstein.

Joris' novel is set in Congo, and features as protagonist an army General based on a real figure.

Lutyens handled the sale on behalf of the author and Marijke Nagtegaal of Amstel publishers in Amsterdam. Rights have also gone to Piper in Germany and to Actes Sud in France.
