Dundee uni launches lit fest

<p>The University of Dundee is to launch a new, two-day literary festival this summer, sponsored by the Apex Hotel and held in partnership with its local branch of Borders. Philip Pullman and Jacqueline Wilson have been lined up as the headline draws for the event, which will run on 21st and 22nd June.</p><p>Faber m.d. Will Atkinson and Granta m.d. David Graham will also speak, on a panel about how to get published.</p><p>Festival director Anna Day described the move as a natural progression for a city with &quot;such a rich literary heritage&quot;. &quot;We&#39;ve got an excellent array of new and exciting writers, as well as some of the most established names in the business,&quot; she added.</p><p>The university already partners the Dundee Book Prize for new writing.
