Duncan Heath becomes publisher at Icon Books

Icon Books has promoted Duncan Heath, currently the editorial director, to the role of publisher with responsibility for all editorial policy.

Andrew Furlow, who recently returned from a year’s sabbatical, becomes associate publisher, responsible for all commercial policy, and Lydia Wilson and Lucy Cooper have been promoted to sales manager and marketing manager, respectively.

All promotions take place with immediate effect.

Icon books m.d. Philip Cotterell said: “We are delighted to be making these changes, as it is indicative of how Icon, who are founder members of the Independent Alliance, have progressed in recent years.  It recognises the skilled and highly professional team that we have in place, and it sets the tone for our continued expansion as a mainstream independent non-fiction publisher in all English-language markets.”
