DK will published Move Like a Lion by television presenter Radzi Chinyanganya in January 2021. The book is illustrated by Francesca Rosa.
World rights were acquired by Sarah Larter from Hannah Weatherill at Northbank Talent Management on behalf of M&C Saatchi Merlin.
Chinyanganya is best known for presenting BBC’s children’s show "Blue Peter" as well as the 2012 Paralympics and the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Move Like a Lion aims to inspire children to get active and discover the amazing way exercise can make you feel. The book will bend science and physical education by featuring exercises modelled on the natural movements of animals, so readers can explore life in the animal kingdom as they copy the positions.
Chinyanganya commented: "I am so excited to be working with DK to share my love of movement, in a book which isn’t about changing how you look, but about how you feel. The only thing you need is your body and imagination!"
Larter added: "We are so excited to be working alongside Radzi to publish this book – his passion and enthusiasm are infectious, and the central message of the book – the wellbeing of children – is key to our publishing."
