'Disengaged' librarians must go

<p>Public libraries need to replace "disengaged" staff and overhaul their levels of customer service if they are to revive their image, a session at the Library and Information Show has been told. The call made by David Murray, director of the London Libraries Development Agency, follows criticism of failings in the library service in a recent Audit Commission report.
